Guru Ghasidas University
Guru Ghasidas
University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly,
was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. NAAC has accredited the University
as B+. The University is a residential cum affiliating institution, having
its jurisdiction spread over Bilaspur Revenue Division of the state of
Chhattisgarh.
The University
covers almost the total spectrum of higher education; University Teaching
Departments and about hundred & twenty five affiliated colleges offering
various courses in the areas of Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering &
Technology, Law and Humanities, Life Sciences, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy,
Sciences, Social Sciences, etc.
