Technical University, Jalandhar was established in January 1997
for advancement of Technical Education. The University has under
its affiliation 288 Colleges offering Courses in Engineering, Management,
Pharmacy, Architecture, Hotel Management, Medical Lab Technologies
& IT disciplines. Under its DIstance Education program PTU has more
than 1000 Learning centers across India. Courses offered through
distance learning are DCA, PGDCA, ADHNT, PGDBM, BSC-IT, MBA, BBA,
MSC-IT, BCA, MCA, MBA (Insurance) and MBA (Retail).
