The University is located . It offers UG, PG, Certificate, PG Diploma and Diploma courses. Osmania University got Programme-wise Regular Recognition from DEC from 2009-10 to 2011-12 for B.A, M.A, M.Com, MBA, PG Diploma, BBA, BCA, BHA&TM, Diploma and MCA.

Methodology - Under Academic activities students are provided study material, home assignments and arranging of personal contact programmes in PGRRCDE, OU campus. Encouraged by the response and success of UG, PG programmes and responding to local and global demands by taking advantage of innovations in Information Technologies the Center has introduced CD and Web based Modular Certificate Courses.
Study Centres - It has study centres only in Andhra Pradesh. Personal Contact Programmes are held in Professor G. Ram Reddy Centre for distance education campus.
Selection - Candidates from all over India are admitted without age and area restriction and without any entrance test [Except for MBA, MCA & OUS] provided they fulfill the requisite conditions of eligibility to various courses.
Application Procedure - Prospectus-cum-Application form can be obtained by students by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 150/- in favour of the Director, PGRRCDE, OU. drawn from any nationalized Banks and payable at Hyderabad along with a self addressed envelope of 11” x 5” size. The Course, name and address of the candidate should be written on the back side of the Demand Draft. The Prospectus-cum-Application form in person can also be obtained by submitting a DD for Rs.100/-, at Sales counter or SBH Extension counter at PGRRCDE, the University Press & Publications, OU; a) Andhra Bank, Vidyanagar; b) Canara Bank, Mettuguda, c) Indian Bank, Shivam Road, New Nallakunta, d) State Bank of Hyderabad branches at Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, and also from Coordinator, Girraj Goverment College, Nizamabad and Nagarjuna Goverment Degree College, Nalgonda.
Note - Students can also Download MBA, MCA and other courses applications from OUCDE website. The Centre / University has no agents. Applications received through tutorials or any other agents will be summarily rejected.
