Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) - Diploma in Added Products from Cereals, Pulses and oilseeds (DPVCPO) - Eligibility Criteria / Entry Requirements i) 10+2 Senior Secondary Pass outs ii) BPP (Under IGNOU/OLS Mode) iii) 10th Pass may enroll simultaneously for the BPP and Diploma Programme. Medium of Instruction English Min age as on 1st Jan. of the Academic Year No bar Duration (Min) 1 year Duration (Max) 4 years Program offering / Admission Admission notification is generally released in May/June and the last date for submission of filled-in application forms will be September 30 for January session and March 31 for July session. It is a one-year diploma programme leading to Advanced Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing and subsequently to B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering. IGNOU - Diploma in Management (DIM) - Eligibility Bachelor's Degree + 3 years' Supervisory Managerial / Professional experience OR Non-graduate with 6 years' Supervisory Managerial / Professional experience Min age as on 1st Jan. of the Academic Year No bar Duration (Min) 1 years Duration (Max) 2 1/2 years Program Fee Rs. 3,500/- Medium of Instruction English Other Information regarding the course As per the IGNOU Student Handbook and Prospectus for Management Programs (2005 and in other sources), for the sake of clarification, IGNOU suggested the following: a) 'Professional' means a person holding a degree in Engineering, Law, Medicine, Accountancy, etc. b) 'Experience' means work experience of a person during or after acquiring the qualification as specified above. Further, Supervisory experience means that the person is in the supervisory cadre and supervising after the work of a minimum of three subordinates reporting to him/her. Managerial experience means that the person is concerned with decision making 'Experience' means work experience of a person during or after acquiring the qualifications above. Note: Alongwith the above eligibility criteria, a student must have qualified the OPENMAT Test conducted by the university.
