of Education (B.Ed) degree is of one-year duration. Earlier the
nomenclature was Bachelor of Training (BT). Admission requirement
is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. In some universities,
the nomenclature of the award is Siksha Shastri. B.Ed course is
offered by more than 120 universities. Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar
Sabha (Chennai-600017) offers B.Ed courses in Hindi.
