Most of the programs offered in residence at the ITT Technical Institutes blend traditional academic content and applied learning concepts, with a significant portion of those programs involving hands-on application in a lab environment. The ITT Techs offer programs in the following schools of study: information technology, drafting and design, electronics technology, business, criminal justice, and health sciences

Each ITT Technical Institute is authorized by the state in which it is located and accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Local advisory committees, comprised of people representing local employers, assist the institutes in assessing and updating curricula, equipment, and laboratory design. This assistance helps the ITT Techs provide students with an education that is relevant to industry and employer needs
