Liberty University is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and nationally accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) to award associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees. Additionally, a number of specific programs are approved by accrediting and licensing bodies for specific disciplines (i.e. our Nursing, Sport Management, and Education programs). SACS and TRACS, in turn, are both recognized accrediting bodies by the United States Department of Education
