Amity University Distance Education Brief Information

The University is located in Noida. It offers UG, PG, Certificate, PG Diploma and Diploma courses. University got provisional recognition from DEC in 2007 - 08 for conducting distance education courses.

ASoDL has been established by RBEF promoted by World Wide AKC Group of companies. From January 2006 most of the distance learning programmes are also available online. For details please visit website: www.amityelearning.com

Courses - University offers Management Programmes (MBA, BBA), One year PG Diploma courses, IT Programmes (MCA, BCA) and UG Courses (B.A, B.Com).

Methodology - All programmes at ASoDL are conducted in the distance learning mode/online mode. It consists of three components (a) Assignments, (b) Personal Contact Programme (PCP) and (c) End Term Examination (ETE). Assignments hold 30% weightage for grading. End Term Exam is held twice in a year, normally in the month of June and December. Before the End Term Examination, Interactive Live Virtual Classes for each subject are conducted. Students can attend these classes online. Students can see these recorded classes as and when they want and as many number of times they want.

Study Centres - It has study centres in Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Orissa, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal. Personal Contact Programmes are held in Noida centre and online. All students are required to do project work under the guidance of a project guide and submit a project report on completion within the stipulated date.

Selection - Admission to courses are made through Merit and eligibility requirement for them.

Application Procedure - Admission is open throughout the year. Application form can be obtained from University or Study Centre or Website. All students enrolling for online mode through Amity Centre for e-Learning (ACeL) will have the facility for online registration, admission, courseware, week-end live interactive classes, submission of assignments and End Term Examinations. There is also option to switch between online programme and traditional distance learning programme of Amity at any stage, subject to conditions.

Fees - All the fees must be paid Bank Draft for In favour of "Amity Centre for e-Learning" payable at Noida, along with application form and requisite proof of eligibility.
