ANUCDE main campus located between Guntur and Vijayawada on Chennai - Kolkata National Highway. ANUCDE has got DEC Programme-wise Regular Recognition from 2010-11 for conducting B.A, BBM, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BHM, B.Li.Sc, B.Sc, LLM, MCA, MBA, M.Com, M.A, M.Sc, MHRM, M.Li.Sc, MHM, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes through distance education.
Courses - ANUCDE offers courses in Science (B.Sc & M.Sc), Arts (B.A & M.A), Commerce (B.Com & M.Com) , Diploma (Consumer Awareness & Food Production), Certificate (HIV/AIDS counseling, Hotel and Hospital House Keeping, Consumer Awareness and Grief Counseling), PG Diploma (Banking and Financial Management, Bio-informatics, Business Management, Bio-technology, Computer Applications, Financial Management, Hospital and Health Care Management, Hotel Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Insurance Management, Information Technology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Marketing Management, Travel and Tourism Management, Sports Management, Network Administration, Jainism, Diabetology, Guidance and Counseling and Value Education) and Professional (BBM, BCA, BBA, BHM, B.Li.Sc, LLM (4 specializations), MCA, MBA (5 specializations), MHRM, M.Li.Sc, MHM and 5 year Integrated M.Sc in IT, Computers and Chemistry) through distance learning.
Methodology - Under Academic activities students are provided study material, writing of response sheets, home assignments, project work, dissertation and contact programmes and practicals according to the course selected by the student. Study material covers about 80 to 100 percent of the syllabus. It is issued on the spot at CDE office or sent by post for those who send applications by post or issued through Study Centres for those who submit applications through the Study Centres. At present CDE issues course material for some courses only in Telugu Medium and for some only in English. Candidates are advised to check medium of study before filling Application form. Weekend classes are arranged on Saturdays, Sundays and other Public Holidays depending on the enrollment. These classes are intended for discussing the students' difficulties relating to their subjects with the respective counselors.
Note - Every student will be given assignments. There will be two assignments per each paper. The average of two will be counted for the purpose of final result. The student must be in touch with the study centre for receiving the topics for assignments or they can download the topics from www.anucde.com and they should follow the dates given in Academic Calendar for submission of assignments. The responses should be in candidate’s own handwriting. Print or typed answers will not be accepted. Answers copied either from the course material sent by the university or from the response sheets of other students will get zero marks.

Selection - Admission to courses are made through Entrance test and eligibility for the course for which candidate has applied for. Candidates applying for B.A, BBM, B.Com, BHM, B.Sc, MBA and MCA candidate have to appear for Entrance Test of CDE, ANU. Candidates applying for MBA and MCA that are having 10 years of work experience with Bachelor's Degree or possessing professional degree with 2 years of work experience are exempted from entrance test. Admission for UG, PG, B.Li.Sc, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses will be according to eligibility for that course.
Application Procedure - Application form can be obtained from University or Study Centre or Website. Course fee is paid in form of demand draft in favour of "Director, Centre for Distance Education, Acharya Nagarjuna University" payable at Nagarjuna Nagar or Guntur. Student can pay all types of fee payable to CDE through any branch of Andhra Bank / State Bank of India without D.D charges by crediting to "CDE Fee Collection Account" Nos SBI : 30036214420 / Andhra Bank : 150810011050058. Completed form after enclosing required documents can be send to University by post or submitted in Study Centre.
